Introduction

The Town Council represents the four wards of Blackwood North, Blackwood South, Blackwood Central and the Cefn Fforest East Ward.  Council usually meets monthly at 6:30pm, at Blackwood Methodist Church by the old Argos in Town, on the First Monday  of the month.  Members of the public are able to attend council meetings as observers unless previously arranged with the Clerk.
